Between the rivers

Today I traveled mainly between the two biggest rivers in Northern Germany Weser and Elbe. They both flow into the North Sea.

Cycling had been nice and sunny with nearly no ascending slopes but a lot of picturesque villages, splendid views and farm land. Traveling in slow speed is a great thing. The route today allowed a lot of interaction with the people around me. Nice chats in bakeries. A nod when passing by elderly cyclists just visiting their neighbours. A conversation in a restaurant. The slow speed and the fact that I am travelling solo makes it easy to get in contact with the people. A stork close to the cycling path. Cattle just watching ruminant.

Denmark is close. Tomorrow I am planning to cross the border.
